New in the Etsy Shop

 Love, Hugs, and Ladybugs is now in the Etsy Shop.  Etsy Shop This pattern is part of my Ladybug series that is being released.  At this time there is a total of 5 designs with 2 charts already added to the shop.  The first Ladybug pattern was Love Bug.  Both models was stitched on 14ct hand dyed Zweigart fabric.  I dyed the fabric with Rit Dye. I used colors Lemon Yellow and Marigold.   The fabric turned out absolutely B-E-A-U-T-I-F-U-L ! I used all DMC floss to stitch this pattern. DMC floss included : 310, B5200, 321, and 972.  I finished both patterns similarly.  I started with  two red Baskets from PopShelf.  I added red rick rack  between the aida stitch board and the black with white dot back board.   To finish off both pieces I added cute little ladybugs from Hobby Lobby which I found in the floral area.  The Ladybugs come with floral wire attached to them. They cost $1.79 each in my area for 4....

Nash Fest 2025

 So Excited to travel to Nashville TN for Nash Yarn Fest 2025.

This trip was a dream. I was able to meet so many of my favorite Knitting YouTubers. 


I was able to knit on a pair of sock on the way down.  I was using the Crazy Socks Lady's Vanilla Sock Pattern to make a pair of shortie socks. I used a US 1 chiaogoo 9" circular with Premier Yarn Fruits yarn. 



I was able to save money on this trip. I am lucky enough that my hometown is only a hour from Nashville. My husband and I were able to stay with my mother for the weekend.  





We did have to stand in  line in the pouring the rain under awning.    The entire festival was held in doors at the Nashville TN Fairgrounds.  

There was no way to get pictures with all the Youtubers and Designers that were present.  

But here are a few. . . 

Black Pearl Magic did have a booth there. I ran threw the door straight to their booth to buy one of the triangle vinyl bags.

I absolutely Loved meeting them both.  Shala blew my mind with her bags designs.  She was so so easy to talk to.  





So I must tell the truth. I totally went to Nash Yarn Fest to meet the Youtubers from Needles at the Ready.

Funny Story: I was busy meeting, talking, and taken pictures with the  Youtubers from the Knit Posse when my husband spotted Kevin and Ray  of Needles at the Ready. My husband stopped Kevin and Ray  and ask them to wait until I was done. 

Greatest Husband Ever! He knew that Kevin and Ray were the whole reason we drove five hours to this yarn fest. 



The headliners for the Nash Yarn Fest was Arne and Carlos from Norway.  I was able to briefly speak with them. My Husband was very interested in their  recent trip to Antarctica.  They had tips on how we can take a cruise to Antarctica. 



I was unable to meet Jen Geinley and Erica. They were there and took the stage to model their knit designs.  


Knitty Natty was also there. I did not stop her to get photos. 



All in All it was a great weekend.
