New Pattern for Halloween - Spooky !

I just uploaded a new pattern to my Esty shop.  This pattern is called Spooky!  This is stitched on 14ct Zweigart Aida from Hobby Lobby. I RIT dyed the fabric to a spooky purple grey color.   I used DMC to stitch. The colors are : Black, Pale Pink, Light Pumpkin, Dark Steel, Dark Tin, Medium Yellow, Winter White.  I again finished this piece on the Whitewash board from Hobby Lobby item # 1935824

Stitch-Con 2025

It is time again for Stitch-Con !

I am going to Stitch-Con again this year. I am super excited. This year I am going to be in Weekend A instead of B.  I was waitlisted for both weekends and was accepted into Weekend A with just 4 weeks to spare.

Which weekend I received didn't really matter to me since I have no returning stitchin' friends, and I live in the Cincinnati area.  I am able to attend for only the cost of the chair/entrance fee of $275.

Last year I done several stitch gathers. I started with Stitch-Con in June 2024 weekend B, then I done Summer Stitch with Keepsakes. Summer Stitch is a two Saturdays in July that stitchers gather together at a local Cincinnati Community Center and Stitch 9-4pm.  Finaly I attend Barefoot Needleworks Beach Retreat in October.

This year I have changed things up.  I am doing Stitch-con and Summer Stitch only.  I have decided to change up on travel bags.  Last year I took all my projects, snacks, gifts, and more in a tote bags everyday.

This year I bought a rolling cart from Michaels.

This cart is called the Everything Mary Collapsible Rolling Cart.  It is currently on sale for $34.99.  I actually found this cart months ago and I only paid $19.99.  It comes in four different colors: purple, black, pink, and Aqua.  I choose the Aqua color.  It has hard sides and is plenty deep enough to fit my project bags/pouches.

I bought a plastic clear caddy to go in the cart from Michaels.  It fits so well into the cart and on the top.

I decided to sew cotton pads to go in the bottom of the caddy. It was sew easy to do.

So with only 4 weeks to sew I decided to go light this year and only made 20 thread keepers and a small number of hoop savers.

These Thread Keepers are such a quick sew for a gift.

I still have two days to pack and plan.  But time flies.
