Lovely Birdhouse added to the Etsy Shop

     Just in time for Valentines Day.  I have added Lovely Birdhouse to the Etsy Shop.  Etsy Shop This pattern is 56 x 60 stitches. It measures 4 x 4.3".  I hand-dyed 14ct Zweigart with petal pink for fabric.  I used DMC floss. I finished this piece with TURQ Rick Rack from Hobby Lobby item # 474122. The background fabric is  Hot Pink XOXO from Joann.  The roses and the Finishing Pink Ribbon Box item # 5773155 is from Hobby Lobby.

Ghost Duck is in the shop

This pattern is one of five patterns in a Halloween Duck series.  It is the first one to be released.  There is a freebie coming soon to add to this series.  









For this series I choose to hand-dye my own fabric.  I used Rit Dye colors Charcoal  and Purple to dye Zweigart  14 ct aida.  The modeling turned out great.


I used DMC Floss .

445 lemon Yellow 
741 Medium Tangerine
 03 Medium Tin 
742 light Tangerine
 B5200 Bright Winter White


This design is perfect for a Halloween Ornament or a pillow.  Stitch Count is 35 x 55, and it measures 2.5 x 4". 

It can also be stitched the other 5 Halloween Duck Patterns that are being released weekly.  Here is a sneak peak.




I finished the model as a pillow.  I used Candy Corn Fabric that I bought from Joann fabrics and orange Rick Rack I purchased at Hobby Lobby.
