New Stitch Items at Michael's

Michaels is currently in the process of changing its design and layout, adding new products while removing others throughout the store. Following the acquisition of Joann assets, the goal appears to be expanding the fabric and yarn departments—and that could be either a good thing or a bad thing for cross stitchers. For those of us who love needlework, these changes are definitely worth watching. Needlepoint has taken the crafting world by storm, thanks in large part to social media. What was once considered a more traditional hobby has found a whole new audience, and its popularity continues to grow. Michaels seems to have understood the assignment and is responding by adding more needlepoint products to its stores. New Tiny Pattern

 I am now Obsessed with 14ct plastic canvas.  



I tried cross stitching several patterns on perforated paper and I found it too delicate to work with.  I went on Amazon and ordered 14ct plastic canvas. 

I used my patterns and DMC floss to create these tiny Snow Friends.    They are so tiny they are cute.  The plastic canvas is so much more durable. 

I am now trying to decide whether to string them as a garland, make them magnets for my refrigerator, or use them as an ornament.  


I have fell down a rabbit hole and have been designing for days.   I am trying to stitch them all before releasing them.
