New Stitch Items at Michael's

New Patterns to hit the Etsy Shop

Two New Cross Stitch Patterns have dropped into the Etsy Shop !

The first pattern is new to the Lady Bug Series all ready in the shop. This pattern is called Tiny

This pattern features a lady bugs, daisies, and a bright yellow aida fabric.

I hand dyed the 14 ct Zweigart Aida with Rit Dye.  I used 4 cups of boiling water to 1 tsp of Lemon Yellow dye.

I used DMC Floss to stitch the pattern.

DMC:
310  Black
B5200 Bright White
321  Christmas Red
972  Deep Canary

I finished the piece with 1/2" Red Rick from Hobby Lobby sku # 471599. The backing fabric is a simple black farbic with white dots. I picked this up at Walmart as a Fat Quarter.  The wired Ribbon also came from Hobby Lobby. You can find it and the small  ladybugs  (sku # 877795) in the floral department.

I simply take the wire off and hot glue them on.

I bought the small wood blackboard at Dollar General. It was plain wood border which I painted with red paint to match the rest of the series.

This pattern has a stitch count of 67 x 91. I stitched it on 14ct so it finished 4.8 x 6.5"

The next pattern is one of my favorites of all time.  It is the start of my new summer series called Sweet Summer.  This series will feature watermelons.  I will be releasing the patterns weekly.

The first release though is my favorite. I just love it!

I absolutely love Home Sweet Home.
