Michaels is currently in the process of changing its design and layout, adding new products while removing others throughout the store. Following the acquisition of Joann assets, the goal appears to be expanding the fabric and yarn departments—and that could be either a good thing or a bad thing for cross stitchers. For those of us who love needlework, these changes are definitely worth watching. Needlepoint has taken the crafting world by storm, thanks in large part to social media. What was once considered a more traditional hobby has found a whole new audience, and its popularity continues to grow. Michaels seems to have understood the assignment and is responding by adding more needlepoint products to its stores. Summerween season is officially here, and I’m so excited to share my newest cross stitch pattern now available in my Etsy shop, Sew Stitchin Krazee! This brand-new design features an adorable colorful ghost sampler with the perfect mix of spooky and summer vibes.

About the Pattern

This cross stitch sampler showcases a cheerful color ghost theme that fits perfectly into my growing Summerween collection. The design combines spooky cuteness with fun seasonal colors, making it a perfect project for stitchers who love celebrating Halloween all year long.

The finished design measures approximately 6.5 x 5 inches, making it a great size for displaying on shelves, tiered trays, craft room decor, or seasonal displays.



Finishing Details

For this finish, I mounted the completed piece onto a chalkboard from Hobby Lobby that I transformed from gold to pink for a brighter Summerween look. I also added colorful painted wood daisies from Hobby Lobby to give the piece an extra fun and whimsical touch.

The combination of pastel colors, spooky ghost charm, and floral accents makes this finish one of my favorite Summerween displays yet!
